CHATROOM

Chatroom tells the story of some neighbors in an apartment building. 
Although the lives of the inhabitants of the six different apartments seem vastly different from each other, there is one thing that connects them.

BACKGROUND INFO

Chatroom is a short film in 8K, which was completely shot with a smartphone !? Filming a project with a smartphone offers many possibilities. Shots that are not obvious with a traditional film camera suddenly become child's play; think of tight corners or special angles. In addition, a smartphone allows filmmakers to be more inventive. For example: A shot from Chatroom was filmed from the air, with the smartphone simply glued to the ceiling. Such a device weighs almost nothing, is compact and has incredible image quality.

Chatroom was made possible thanks to a collaboration between: Belgian filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Falah, WAJOW Talent Factory, Sem Cuypers, Lukas Gevaert, Sven van Alboom and Samsung.
